In The Land Of Limbo

Dwellers of the land
Break bread at midday,
Conjure dreams of fulfillment
From yesterday's play.

Dwellers of the land
Seek solace in disguise,
A cocoon vapor thick
Transparent to the eyes.

Dwellers of the land
Feel life in its nowness
From a place beyond space,
Without question of howness.

But who are these people?
And what do they do?
Would we know if we saw one?
Do they look like you?

Sleepwalkers and stealers of dreams
Surveying the scene, arms all akimbo,
Believers without hope or prayer
Coming to peace, in the land of Limbo.
